Houston, we've got a problem... | ||||
|
We risk losing some of our domain names in the very very near future (read: tomorrow). We are doing all we can to prevent it from happening, but we should be prepared for the worst. People familiar with the whole RegisterFly situation might know what I'm talking about...
If www.classic-gaming.net is unavailable tomorrow, you'll know what happened.
PS: www.classic-gaming.net itself is safe. cgarchive.com and classicgames.us aren't. One of those has our nameservers, so if those go down, everything does.
UPDATE: www.classic-gaming.net will most likely be transfered to a new registrar in a few days, which means that the site has been saved. cgarchive.com and classicgames.us are still at risk though...
In other news, Res and I have contacted eachother again last night after a few months of dead silence. We've cleared up some internal misunderstandings and problems, and once these domain issues are solved we will start working on CGN again together (both reviving the current site and developing CGN2)

Do not feed the trolls or arsehats like that. Just ignore them and they'll go away.

Damn, I always wondered, if the site is so dead and you think it's such a good riddance why do you still bother coming here Ralph?

The ads average to 18 euros a month, which is 10% of our server costs.
@ralphsmole: Those domain name problems are not our fault. If you actually care, read this page: http://www.registerflies.com/registerfly-faq-section/i-just-learned-about-this...-what-is-goi.html |

@Ralphsmole- Your still here? I thought you left after your last little rant about that subject. Well if your done with leeching off a server, which costs money to provide your downloads for other people's hard work, (which you seem to have no problem downloading) then just get lost. Obviously CGN isnt getting enough money from advertisements so Grades and Res had to resort to premium services to cover server costs.
Anyways hopefully everything will work out for the best. Will the forums still be up or will they go down with the main site? |
