05.12.2006 Headline: Classic Gaming Network is not as dead as it looks like... we will launch v2 as soon as it's ready!, to make things clear: Classic Gaming Network v2 is in production.
Since I released the warez system, I've been working on finally getting premium accounts online. Today, after almost two days of intensive testing, everything should be online and working fine. It is, of course, still possible to encounter a bug or two. Should you do so, send me a message.
Users who do not wish to contribute anything can now still get the files they want, by paying a small fee.
Both ways (premium accounts and contributions) are a great way of helping and supporting CGN, and will make us grow at a high rate.
This is actually even a historical event, since it is the last of the features that were promised for CGN's ancestor, CGA. From now on, every feature we add will be Completely New

I'll probably scrap the "Chat" feature, and replace it with a shoutbox. |

Now I'm gonna get scared. Sig files on comments and messages here--almost just like a new type of forum.
Though the one thing I seem to recall being asked for that hasn't made it yet is our "shoutbox" type thing. |

It won't stop here though... I might add signatures to messages, and maybe even comments, and I'm planning to develop a completely new game classification system that will be quite revolutionary compared to the plain "genre" system almost all gaming sites use. And those are only our near-future plans... |

New is good. And finishing off the last CGA feature is a great milestone. You've done tremendous work for us and it's always appreciated by most.
