FIrst of all, I'll admit, I was skeptic about downloading this game. The game didn't have any screenshots so I had no idea of how the game was like, but oh well, what did I have to lose?
First of all, the story. To put things short, the world was invaded by demons and you saved it. You were given a daughter and 500 gold pieces an year. So, it's up to you to raise your daughter. The game starts with her 10th birthday and ends with her 18th birthday. BY then, she can take care of herself.
Now, for the game itself. At the begining of every month you get a little menu with your daughter. You can check her stats, change her equipment, her diet, go to town, got to the palace or have a chat with her (you can do all of these in the same month, don't worry). Then, you have to decide her schedule. You can have her go on adventure (here you take direct control of her and even fight monsters), have her go to school (pretty tough with only 500 gold an year), have her work or let her take a break. The problem is, her birthday will change a lot your daughter's stats and if she isn't fit for adventure you might find yourself with some boring time. There is some fun in seeing her stats develop with works, but the routine gets boring after a while.
As for the presentation, the graphics are nice but nothing special and there's no sound.
In overal princess maker is a nice game but it can get boring if you constantly use the same routine.
