This is a great game, the Second I´d played in my little life (first was Dune II....), with this cartoon´s army and easy controls, this game is easy to pick up and play.

Background:
Cannon Fodder is a strategy war game in isometric perspective where you control an army of men that have to accomplish different mission (save hostages, or destroy enemy buildings). Naturally, uncountable hordes of enemy units & tanks will try to stop you.

The Game:
On each mission, you will have to choose up to six soldiers from a very large group. Any men that survive the battle are promoted in rank and upgraded, and those who die will go directly to your own private cemetery (Wow! Believe me, it is literally going to blossom in white tombstones - looks the commander´s graves...Double WOW!). During some missions, you will be able to drive vehicles, trucks, helicopters, turrets, tanks, etc. They work in the same way than the regular soldiers (...give us a tank!). The mission objectives are in jungles, snow lands, deserts, marshes, underground bases, etc.There are four ways of destroying enemy and buildings: using grenades, with missiles, with homing missiles, and using weapons from vehicles. The grenades are the most commons way of destruction because you have a lot of them (not ever....); the rockets are better than the grenades because faster and with an higher fire rate (however, homing rockets are the best.....

the only problem with them is that, as you probably guessed, are very hard to find). Other weapons are tanks....the very best to SPLIT enemies...... However, explosions are very dangerous for your Army too.... Aside from these exploding weapons, there is not any other kind of equipment, your soldiers only have their machine guns to attack, and more variety here could have been nice. If you want, you can separate your army: you can leave some of them defending, or guarding and specific building, and things like that. It is not necessary, but sometimes you can make very useful strategies.

Game controls:
The game controls are very easy: using only the mouse, your soldiers are going to be able to do many different actions. The game works in the same way than any Real Time Strategy game: select your group and move them with the right button of the mouse, and make them attack with the left one. Hold left & right button to use grenades or rockets. Graphically the game is very nice, it is a very old title but the graphics are still very good
