Game review

In my opinion, this is one of the better simulation games ever made. In 1999 Microprose really did the trick with this game and only with a very simple idea: Build a Theme Park. In 1994 Bullfrog also released a game like this called `Theme Park´ but it is not as realistic as Rollercoaster Tycoon, another reason why Rollercoaster Tycoon kicks ass is because Transport Tycoon developer Chris Sawyer helped with this game, and Transport Tycoon players know what this means...quality! More games of this genre have already been made but this one is one of the most successful and best Theme Park game around. Let's put this nice RollerCoaster game in detail!
Graphics:
Very, and I mean very nice. When people barf, you can actually see the barf lying and the handyman will clean it up. The detailed paths and the rollercoasters are also very nice. You can see the detailed parts of the rollercoaster and you can even build your own rollercoaster and make it crash which will give a nice graphical burst of flames but on the other side a bad reputation too. The scenery is also very good. You can choose between many different things, from dinosaurs to trees, just to let your park look better and even win an award for it in the end of a `Rollercoaster Tycoon´ year! You can actually make your park look like a nice and nature friendly park. There are just too many PROS about the graphics to mention here.
Gameplay:
Also, suberb. To build your own Rollercoaster will be difficult in the beginning but later on you'll find out its quite easy. With the game's swift gameplay, you can move people out of your park, hire handymen, agents and so on.
Sometimes when people don't want to enter your ride because it's to boring or to thrilling, you can even advertise and change the cash you need to pay to enter the ride. There are all sorts of rides like gentle rides, rollercoasters, and more thrilling rides and so on. The game is very realistic because when you don't build toilets in (for example) people will leave your park and will get angry. Every level has a different goal, for example you´ve to get 500 visitors within´ 3 years or you´ve to make a certain amount of money or even a combination of both goals, the first levels are quiet simple but later on it´s quiet hard to beat the goal. During a mission you´ll start with only a few rides but you can let your engineers develop new rides, and mostly they are better and more exciting than the rides you already have so this game contains a lot of features and will keep you busy for hours and hours.
Music:
Not too nice. You can hear people barf and hear the music of your rides (if you have them) but that's all. Nothing very special so no need to put the music in detail cause it´s very simple.
Conclusion:
One of the best games ever made. I love every RollerCoaster Tycoon game, yes at this very moment there are three RollerCoaster Tycoon games and a shipload of add-ons. The thrill seeing people in big rollercoasters or going in the Marry - Go round is just fun and it's very enslaving because you want to build your park larger and larger and make more money, but before you make a shipload of money you´ve to build some interesting rides. This download is highly recommended even for the people who don't like rollercoasters.
