Intro
A fun-filled, arcade sports classic, in the best traditions of the arcade games, frequently seen in bowling alleys (what a coincidence, indeed!), bars, pool halls, and taverns. The object of the game is get the most points/pin, in the sport of bowling. At the beginning, the players can choose whether their digital bowler is either right-handed or left-handed, and the weight of the ball, they will be playing with, in each game. The heaver the ball, the less th espeed needed for strikes, but a greater potential to create splits and lessened curving shot response time.
Players
One to Four-Players (Arcade Mode), who can play head-to-head, against one another. One or Two-Players (Console Mode), can play in this mode, unless the emulator supports more players (i.e., MAME or twin X-Arcade controllers in a cabinet configuration)
Game Modes
The game consists of several modes, Regulation (standard 10-pin bowling), two, bonus-point type rounds, Strike-90 (90 points for a strike, 60 point sfor a spare, plus regular pin point count), and Flash (Point bracket flashes across thetop of the screen, awarding points for each shot, based on when the pins are hit, and how accurately).
Fun Factor
The game is great fun, with the colorful graphics, and fun spritesof cheering fans and female commentator. In fact, if your game is highly successful, in terms of points and shooting accuracy, the blonde will give you a big kiss, which will make you blush, greatly! Great sounds and infinate replayability (so open-ended a game format), round out the game experience.
Overall
A great game, no matter whether you play it at home on a console, at your local arcade, or on an emulator: The sounds are terrrfic, the graphics are great, and the fun factor is through the roof! A great game for all audiences, even those who are not sports fans, and family-friendly for all to play.
