Electronic Arts did a great job once again, this time they developed LBA. Little Big Adventure isn't just like any other adventure/role-playing games of its age. This one has something special which you'll notice in the major PROS of the game. In the game you play Twinsen, a wizardstudent. With this character you'll explore lots of places and worlds like you've never experienced before.

The graphics are far beyond dreams for its age. Nothing is blocky which is quite unique for the year 1995. The shading and the scenery is awesomely done. When you are in a desert, you can clearly see that the characters shade is lighting up because of sunshine. And when you're in a cave, the characters shadings gets darker again. Most of the characters faces are quite simple but the general layout of the characters are great and unique. When you are in a factory of some sort you'll see everything moving, lights are flashing on and off, this gives an indescribable feeling, it will give you the impression that you're really walking around in a factory. If you don't know what I mean, play the game by yourself.

The gameplay itself is also great for its age. The worlds are very big, and the places are just awsome. You need to use your brain to play this game. You'll get lessons from all around the places to improve your wizard skills. When you have completed a lesson, you'll get a special item which does more damage to opponents. Twinsen can also walk in diffirent modes. He can just walk, do sporty and he can sneak. At one point when an animal of some sort has grabbed an umbrela from somebody, you've to sneek behind him to get the umbrella back. The controls of this game are quite simple but you'll need fast reflexes because you'll have to evade some attacks and attack back at the right time. This isn't recommended for bloody game lovers though because when you hit someone, there will only fly some stars out of the person you killed.

The audio. Nothing special, more bad than good. The voice acting won't harm you when you first play the game but you'll notice that it is not good when you play the game further on.

So onto my conclusion. Overall it's a great game. It has fun gameplay and the graphics are just great. You won't get bored fast by this game but I wouldn't recommend to play it for hours because you can easily get irritated because of all the frustrating puzzles in the game. However, if you have enough credits I really recommend to give this game a shot, you won't be dissapointed.
