This is version 6.22, one of the latest DOS versions ever, MS-DOS 6.22 offers many features and very usefull tools such as memory tools, disk repair tools, a virus scanner, a simple text editor and much more. These days 99% of the computer users uses Microsoft Windows but back in 1993 MS-DOS was the standard operating system for home computers.

Correction MS-DOS came out in the late 80's and if you want to install DOS you need to find a Hard Drive Under a gig. For many of us that have PC's you can find the command prompt icon in your start menu under Accessories.  :)
